As many of us are forming a new “normal” of what it looks like to work from home, we curated a gear list that helps you to take your office on the road! Whether you are a traveling digital nomad, going home for the holidays, or going on a camping trip, these items below will help you stay organized, be efficient, and fuel you up!
Keep all your essentials in one bag. Load your charging cords, important papers, headphones, phone, pens or pencils, and anything else you might need into this padded bag. Put its pockets to use and keep your items separated and organized! Don’t forget to use the internal key clip to keep track of those car keys that always seem to disappear.
This backpack is the perfect size to store your laptop, notebook, keyboard, or any other work items while keeping it all safe and sound. Find organization panels and pockets to easily organize your belongings. Once you’ve wrapped up work for the day, convert this backpack into a hiking pack for your adventures!
Put this bottle to action during your long day of work and fill it up with your favorite drink. With a stainless steel and insulated double wall design, this bottle is perfect for your steamin’ hot drink or ice-cold water. For ultimate convenience, this to-go bottle fits neatly into the side pocket of your backpack.
Use this lantern to light up your workspace while charging your phone! Have steady light for up to 50 hours and then recharge the Luci Base Light using its solar panels or USB. Small and lightweight, this light is convenient for on-the-go use and the perfect addition to your workspace.
Included in this kit are the Coalatree Nomad Packable Backpack, Vapur 0.5L Wide Mouth Anti-Bottle, Sun Company WristTurtle Compass, GEAR AID Tenacious Tape Mini Patches, Skratch Labs Matcha Green Tea & Lemon Hydration Mix, Ursa Major Essential Face Wipes.
On the Road Tips
- Plan in advance: We are all for those spontaneous trips but think ahead of where or if you will lose service, how you will keep all your devices charged, what time your meetings are, and everything you will need to be successful working on the road! Think about offline solutions and use those little breaks in your day to get work done.
- Put those distractions away: Place your phone on airplane mode or out of reach to reduce distractions. We highly recommended using noise-canceling headphones as well.
- Comfortable Set-Up (but not too comfy): Take the time before you start working to get a set up that won’t leave your back and neck in pain! Whether you are in the car, tent, hammock, or cabin, set your computer screen up at eye level and make sure you can sit up straight. Just be sure not to make your new office laying down in your sleeping bag or else you might fall asleep on the job.
